Medical Group Clinic Manager
Washington County Hospital is looking for a highly organized, passionate, quality driven Registered Nurse who seeks a challenging position as a management team member in a Hospital based Rural Healthcare Clinic setting.

This position reports to the Chief Nurse Executive and is responsible for supervising Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Nursing Staff, facilitating efficient and quality driven patient care. This position is responsible for contributing to the regulatory compliance of the hospital including assurance of Joint Commission Accreditation and State of Illinois Rural Health Clinic Regulations. Familiarity with these regulations is preferred..

 

Minimum qualifications require an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.  Preferred experience consists of knowledge of clinic oriented healthcare systems,  experience in outpatient services, and development of outpatient services.

FULL TIME, R.N./L.P.N.s

MED/SURG./VARIABLE SHIFTS

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the department during shift. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice, managing all assigned patients, supplies, and equipment in the department, and promoting team work with physicians and other departments. Also responsible for educating patients and families on discharge instructions, using age appropriate language and instructions.

Education:

Minimum: ,successful completion of L.P.N. program or ADN from an accredited college or university

Experience:

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Valid Illinois L.P.N. /  R.N., or similar license from reciprocal state.

C.P.R. - Healthcare Provider Level, ACLS
