Monsma began his tenure as president at WCH on Monday, September 17, and brings a progressive 23-year health care executive leadership career encompassing acute care, medical group, and accountable care organization settings.

Monsma holds two graduate degrees from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA): a Master of Arts, Hospital and Health Administration; and a Master of Business Administration.
