Washington County Hospital provides caring, compassionate supportive care for seniors. There are 15 beds available, including several private rooms. The Supportive Care wing is staffed by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and other health care professionals, providing family-oriented care for residents. An interdisciplinary care team meets weekly to address each patient’s needs.

Support services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, an activity department, laboratory and diagnostic imaging, housekeeping and laundry services, meals and dietary consultation. Free cable TV is available in all patient rooms. Pastoral care is also available. A barber and beautician make regular visits. The daily activities offered addresses the intellectual, physical and social needs of the residents. The activities program is individualized for each resident and is based on past preferences and interests and present skill level. The Supportive Care wing is accredited by The Joint Commission.
