Patient Access Representative FTResponsible for timely and accurate patient registration resulting in seamless hand off to all clinical departments within the facility. The Patient Access Representative interviews the patient, obtains and records applicable demographic and financial information, ensures insurance eligibility, calculates and collects patient portion at time of service. Additional responsibilities include: accepting patient account payments, balancing the daily cash deposit, posting cash, charges, and adjustments, answering telephone calls, and other duties as assigned.Days
Network SpecialistFTThe Network Specialist will need a broad background in network management, hardware and software deployment/support and network security. Responsible for supporting systems so that Washington County Hospital staff and providers have the tools they need to provide the very best care to patients.

Education: Bachelor Degree in related field is preferred.
Experience: 5 years of experience and expert level working knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, hardware and software.

FTThis role is part of a Federal Apprenticeship Program. Participants must apply for this program and be approved by WCH, Southwestern Illinois Worknet, and Kaskaskia College. Application and interview are required. Qualified individuals will attend C N A classes at KC and will be employed at WCH for 2000 hours in a support role training. WCH, WIOA will pay tuition, fees, and books for the KC C N A program as long as the participant is actively participating in the program. If you miss more than 12 hours of classroom, you will be automatically dropped from the program. Varies

The therapist sets goals and a plan of treatment in order to return the patient to the highest level of function possible. Nurse ExternPRNTo establish criteria for a transitional employment role for nursing students in good standing while completing their senior year of an accredited nursing program. The Nurse Extern function is to assist supervising nurse in providing quality nursing care while meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice. The Nurse Extern works under the supervision of assigned R.N.s with assigned patients in accordance with hospital guidelines.
