 WCH is excited to announce our use of SSM MyChart.  This will allow our patients online access to their health information, communicate with their providers, and request prescription refills.   Patients are also able to pay their hospital bills thru the SSM Health MyChart.

 

General Information

Visiting Hours are always determined by the patient. If you do not wish to receive visitors, please tell a staff member. If one of your guests is a child under the age of 10, please consult the nurse in charge.

Public Restroom is located near the Gift Shop.

Phone Information Dial “9” to access an outside line from the phone in patient rooms.

Smoking Policy – Washington County Hospital is a smoke free hospital and smoke free campus.

Dining Room Hours– Cafeteria is Closed.
Soda and snack machines are located in the Dining Room and Front Lobby.

Chaplain Services – If you would like to contact your minister or a minister on call, please ask a staff member.

Gift Shop – The gift shop is operated by the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers. The hours are posted on the door.

Advance Directive Information – Will be provided by the nursing staff.

Report Card Act – At Washington County Hospital we are committed to providing excellent patient care. In accordance with the Illinois Report Card Act [210 ILCS 86], the public has the right to access nurse staffing information. Requests for staffing information can be obtained by calling the Director of Nursing (DON) at 327-2672 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. If unable to reach the DON, you may leave a message or contact the appropriate nursing unit at 327-2292 or for LTC 327-2282.
